Story

Brock, originally from Colorado, moved to Virginia Beach to earn a Master of Divinity degree from Central Theological Seminary of Virginia Beach in 2005.  While in seminary, the kindness of God brought Carolyn into his life, and they were married in the summer of 2008.  The pastors of Redemption Church in Chesapeake began talking to Brock about his plans for after seminary while he and Carolyn were members at the church.  These conversations brought together the church's desire to plant more churches, the pastors percieved gifts in Brock, and Brock's desire to church plant in the West.  All of this culminated in the assembling of the RCD church plant.  Brock was ordained at Redemption Church in Chesapeake in July, 2010.
